Some integrations with Latch require ongoing polling of an API, or checking it quite frequently over brief periods. In addition to being a highly inefficient use of resources, this presents some problems, including the generation of constant notifications in mobile clients due to the continuous query of a Latch status.

In this session, we will learn how to create, set up and use the Latch webhooks to see how a developer may be notified of changes in the Latch of user pairings, using the application NodeJS to apply the traditional polling strategy by migrating it to the new webhooks system.
