Router-type network devices are the entry and exit doors to the huge Internet network. For this reason, among many others, it’s a critical point at which threats are present on a daily basis. This project proposes the integration of Latch in an OpenWRT system, and provides an abstraction level adequate for the complexity of network security.

This solution has been implemented within the Eleven Paths University Program as a compulsory Final Project. The talk will address how the solution was designed, the integration of Latch in different parts of the router and different functionalities, and the result of its implementation, from a developer’s point of view.
