We have known for a long time that passwords are not enough. New technology has managed to strengthen them a bit and keep them around for a few more years, e.g. the two-factor authentication (2FA) and our dear Latch, a second authorization factor…

However, the time has come to say goodbye to passwords and replace them. This wish has been heard by the market and many new technologies have been developed with this purpose in mind. Some of these technologies have been around for years but they were not mature enough for mass deployment. Their path is now progressively clearer.
