In the history of companies, regardless of their size, there has always been evidence of fraud affecting customers, suppliers, and even employees and employers. At present, information and technology systems are the mechanisms most used by criminals to obtain benefits at the expense of their victims, but obviously, they do not miss any non-technological opportunity to commit their misdeeds… Although many people think that the arrival of technology has only helped to increase the possibility of fraud, the truth is that it also gives us the flexibility and power to detect anomalous situations (physical or logical). that allow us to anticipate frauds or to have the evidence to determine who were the people who committed it, and from this real perspective, the benefit is much greater than the harm if we take advantage of these technologies.

In this webinar, we will talk about types of fraud, the most common tools and solutions in the market, and the benefits for us from the perspective of prevention and mitigation of fraud. Also, we will highlight the importance and the goals of an awareness campaign aimed at employees, suppliers and clients, and on the intervention and role of forensic experts.
