The HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) protocol has been developed to protect web servers, mainly against downgrade attacks and cookie hijacking. Although the protocol isn’t new, and in fact we’ve already analyzed how it works and related topics such as HSTS and pinning, as published in several of our blog articles, there’s been a lot of talk in 2016 about this IETF standards track, so this webcast you’ll be able to find out more about how it emerged. We’ll also be analyzing how it works and all the pros and cons.
