There are a high number of plugins and SDKs (Software Development Kit) ready to be used through our Latch app. With the solution that will be presented over this #CodeTalks4Devs, you will see how the Docker environment can secure your containers by means of a single container that will act as an operation manager with Latch. Consequently, you only need to create a container that communicates or performs the management actions with Latch, and the remainder of them will only have to make simple calls to a file, so its implementation will be completely free, regardless of if there is any specific SDK for Latch or not.
For all this, we have decided to name this project SuperLatch, a digital lock to control everything. Containers that are within the environment do not need Internet connection, since this will only be necessary for the SuperLatch container, that is responsible for the management. This solution is useful for Kubernetes as well, the open-source code system for automatic deployment that we will see over the talk. Latch and Docker, a great combination to secure your containers.
