As a result of the creation of a new firmware for the Itead’s Sonoff device, we have created a hacking hardware project called Latch IoT. This firmware requires to be flashed on the Itead device memory and, in turn, be connected through the MQTT protocol to the device with a service provided by our Latch tool. This service allows to be activated through WebHooks, avoiding then the continuous calls made to Latch service to check the status.

By this #CodeTalks4Devs we will try to show a variation of Latch applied to the physical world, ideal to be developed in a domotics environment.
